We are employing people throughout the UK to work full-time or part-time as Energy Assessors, all you have to do is take part in a 12 week distance learning course, attend two assessment training days, and pass a government examination.  Our training provider can fully train you, following which we will allocate postcodes to you and either employ you full-time or provide you with a self-employed contract. 

There will be massive demand for Energy Performance Certificates, and we intend to be the leaders in the business nationally.

1. Area Manager/DEAs (Domestic Energy Assessors) – Fully Employed
We are seeking a number of HI/DEAs throughout the UK to act as Regional Managers overseeing a team of DEAs.  The successful candidate will have background knowledge of working within a sales environment and managing a large team, and will be a qualified Home Inspector/Energy Assessor.   The role will require some HCR/EPC work and general management of a team.  This role will be home based and require you to travel around your allocated region.  Salary range £25k to £30k (potential £40k - £45k with bonus), plus car allowance and business mileage agreement.
2. DEAs (Domestic Energy Assessors) – Fully Employed
This is the first tier of our offering and we seek to employ individuals throughout England and Wales on a postcode basis.  These people will work wholly and exclusively for Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd under an employment contract and will be the first people to be allocated work in any of the regions.  Our package includes a basic salary plus bonus and will be of interest to those of you who require job security from 1st August 2007.  An HI/DEA qualification is a must, however we can introduce you to our chosen Training Provider, with whom we have agreed discounted rates.  This course is based around Distance Learning and takes approx.12 weeks.  The DEA will be home based and allocated a specific postcode area in which they will complete EPCs.  Professional Indemnity insurance and equipment will be provided. There is a regional salary range between £18K to £25k (potential £30k - £35k with bonus), plus travel allowance.
3. DEAs (Domestic Energy Assessors) Zero Hours Contract
We seek individuals who will be paid on a PAYE basis, monthly, and who will receive work from us as soon as full capacity of our employed people has been reached.  These people will often be self-employed or may wish to undertake work for other organizations, and will be paid on a “per job” basis, the significant thing being that Professional Indemnity insurance, tax, PAYE, will be taken care of by ourselves, and you will be paid on a monthly pay slip method.  We anticipate that zero rated people will receive a significant number of instructions from ourselves, and could find themselves working exclusively for Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd.  However, they will have the ability to name a set number of instructions per day or per week to suit individual circumstances.  An HI/DEA qualification is a must; however we can introduce you to our chosen Training Provider, with whom we have agreed discounted rates.  This course is based around Distance Learning and takes approx.12 weeks.  The DEA will be home based and allocated a specific postcode area in which they will complete EPC’s.
